A muay Thai close quarter switch kick drill,to avoid being hit with a counter cross punch. Also enhances the kick with proper hand position to balance a stronger kick and return position.

Seems legit
When looking at physics, one needs a counter balance.look at a
batter,following thru,his lower body although following through,also
counter balances so he doesn’t fall over.A golfer’s long drive, twists his
whole body thru, yet at the end of his long at arc his body counter balances
again so he doesn’t fall over. The sport may change, yet the science of
physics does not.The counter balance of the hands is simply a
counterbalance to a follow thru motion.
Is there any reason why one wouldn’t do this when kicking?
