understood. like i said im going to incorparate this into my arsenal. but
im also going to keep my probing jab. thank you for the response sir. thank
you for the video and explaination of the technique.

Here’s the thing with the jab my friend…it’s unlike the cross, hook,
etc., where there’s rotation involved. All the power from the jab comes
from weight distribution. The harder you push off that back foot
(distributing more weight into the punch) the harder your punch will be.
Our school’s boxing coach taught us this. His coach was a Russian National
coach. This concept and approach with the jab has been very successful for
my students.

i take a jkd approach to the jab. i dont step forward and i dont distribute
weight. i also have my strong side forward. i use it as a probing device.
not saying your technique is wrong though. actually what im going to do is
use your technique in combination with my technique. so ill probe then if i
will do damage with a good old one two jab cross followed by a straight
blast from wing chun. thank you for sharing sir.
