What he is talking about is Kosei Inoue’s prefered style of uchimata, often
refered to as tobikomi o-uchimata. “Tobikomi” being the method of entry and
the “o” for attacking the furthest leg (same as hane-goshi). In general
there are 4 types of uchimata, kenken (hopping), ko (attacking nearest
leg), taka (between the legs) and O (furthest leg). Hope that helps 🙂

whitmike is perfectly correct. some judoka put the right leg in too deep
and end up with uchi mata
