In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu its a given that you will sooner or later end up on you on the bottom. In my opinion being on the bottom doesn’t mean you have to be on your back.In this video I teach you how not only to stay off your back but to also avoid getting gripe in the guillotine gripe.

By avoid the guillotine and staying of you back you opponent is not only limited in his option but he also cannot rest his weight on you. Never allowing the top man to rest his weight on you is crucial since it will cause you to get fatigue.
