Thanks for your comment. Nothing works 100% of the time. And there’s
escapes and counters to every technique. This is not a high percentage
technique and I wouldn’t try to intentionally put myself in this position.
That said, this technique can work. I’ve done it many times in sparring.
I’m not sure what you mean by rolling to his side. The opponent can escape,
but not simply. And I don’t know where you came up with the 45 degree angle.
