This Amazing is one of the most powerful submissions from the North/South position. Few people have seen it and the transition into the move is quick and easy to do after you practice it.The setup for this move is the same as the previous North/South videos. Make sure you are dominating correctly and have your opponent up on his/her side. Once you have that Kimura grip on the arm it is important to make space by pulling up. If you pull up and it breaks the grip on the hand then you're great, just finish the Kimura! If you pull up and it just stretches out their arm and they are holding onto their belt or their other hand you will have a clear pathway to this submission.The two most important things with this submission,1. Make sure that your hand goes onto your thigh. This is the part that usually leads to failing at the move. If your hand misses your own thigh, which happens from time to time, you MUST transition quickly and hope to land in side control. Most of the time it will be a slight scramble when this goes wrong, but you are starting the scramble with your opponents back facing you and you in the top position. 2. The second thing you have to do is make sure that you pull up on the arm to make space for your led to catch your opponents forearm. If you do not pull up and make this space everything will be too tight and you will not be able to move into this position quickly.After you get your leg over and your hand is on your thigh you have VERY high percentage finish. Avoid being taken backwards towards your back, which will be easy to avoid as long as you are leaning forward. Once you lean forward place your head/forehead on the floor and elevate your hips so make space to triangle your legs. After your legs are triangled you will have 100% finish rate (or 99.999999% for you disbelievers in absolutes).Now it's time to go VERY slowly. Make sure to Elevate your hips and turn your body to place your hip on the floor. Make sure when you rotate your hips you do it so that your chest rotates in the direction of your partners head.
