Very slick! During drills, I had a hard time maintaining continuous
connective pressure of the hook during the inversion. I figured I would
just “push” harder with the hook…and I ended up landing with essentially
a shin-kick to my training partner’s groin. There’s definitely details to
this that require practice and patience, but the look of disorientation and
confusion on your opponent’s face when you pull this off would make it all
worth it.
No worries! Its takes practice and drilling to develop the intuition necessary to maintain the connection. We will work on it more soon! And I will release some dynamic drill videos to help as well! 🙂
— Awesome sweep man! being a small guy i love all sorts of guards and
sweeps 😀
when you insert your second leg/hook. is it going across his groin more
?
+MALUSincI'll make a video soon on how to get o x-guard from there soon! 🙂
Thanks Bro! Glad that my content, sharing, and style is appreciated! And yes, it is more hooking/across the groin. But that pressure also creates more pressure on his body by my knee. I hope that helps!
also how do you see x guard? what attacks can i set up from there? thankyou again!
BOOM!!!
