Full time instructor at the Gracie Barra The Woodlands Prof. Todd Moore began his combative sports career in 1998 with the sport of wrestling. After 4 yrs of solid competition he amassed a high school record of 147-52 (not including Freestyle/Greco Roman). From there he began to pursue a career as a Mixed Martial Artist in 2002 starting with Jiu Jitsu competition; NAGA, Grappler's Quest, and IBJJF World Championships and is a veteran Gold and Silver Medalist of the IBJJF International Open. He has since attained the rank of BJJ Black Belt under Professor Robo and Prof. Draculino.Prof. Todd began his MMA career as an Amateur in 2004 winning 7 straight bouts and 2 Amateur MMA titles. Turning Pro in 2005, Coach Todd went on a strong 9 bout win streak, and won a regional Pro Welterweight Championship for one of the organizations feeding talent to Zuffa (UFC, and WEC) known as the Ring of Combat. From that win he earned the right to compete on some of the world's biggest MMA organizations, most notably StrikeForce, WEC, and DREAM in Japan.Prof. Todd is looking to focus his lengthy competition experience in helping the rest of the Gracie Barra team achieve their individual competition goals.
