Critical BJJ Technique – Strong Collar Choke from Half Guard on Top

11

Look us up at: http://www.vt1gym.com/Hey there everyone, VT-1 Gym in Sydney, Australia has a new Critical BJJ Technique series video available for you guys. This week we continue the series of working from on top in your opponent's half guard. The technique involves stepping over to what you might call, reverse or switch base half guard. From there we're going to start off with a grip similar to the ninja choke you might have seen from side control. In order to finish the choke you step over the head with your free leg and you can get a powerful torque on the choke in that position. Check out the video, test it out and let us know what you think. For more head over to:http://www.facebook.com/VT1GymSydneyhttp://vt1gym.com/MMAinSydney/

This looks like an absolute gem and I think I might be able to use this one
in judo competitions if i’m fast enough.

Nice one guys. I am a white belt looking for stuff a clueless dimwit like
me can pull off. I need to practice that backstep to get into that position
but I know people won’t feel threatened when I am in that position with the
leg still trapped.
