When Marcelo wins a big grappling match (which is often), he never jumps up
and down and pounds his chest. His team, friends, and family also never
storm the mat in celebration. I can only speak for myself, but, if I was
6-inches taller than a guy and outweighed him by 50-lbs, I’d be very
embarrassed if, after i beat him, my friends came storming onto the mat.
I’d especially be embarrassed if that guy I beat was Marcelo Garcia – the
most humble competitor around.
