This is another escape from the Kesa Gatame (sit out) position where you can swim your arm under your opponent's arm and either take his back or gain the mount position.

At the two minute mark of this video is a great spot to do a twister or set
it up. I have done it before. try it out guys. Great video.

what if they have the headlock variation and it’s hard to pop your head out

I agree to not getting caught there… However, can anyone provide an
example of when this position has been effectively used on a consistent
basis in the UFC, Strikeforce, ADCC, No-Gi Pan-Ams, or other top levels of
competition? I’m not trying to be defiant for the sake of arguing- I’m just
saying that it doesn’t get used regularly because of the danger of having
your back taken. Are you always going to lose your back, NO- but the risk
is MUCH higher there.
