Stephan Kesting from http://www.grapplearts.com teaches a tutorial on how to finish the Rear Naked Choke (or RNC) on a resisting opponent in a submission grappling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu or mixed martial arts context. This choke is also known as the "sleeper" (wrestling) or hadaka jime (Judo).Produced by Stephan Kesting and www.grapplearts.com

Oh yeah, as for any powerful technique I see, I always try to find the
counters. Searched for it and found. Its a drop, sidestep, turn and
takedown. Nice, I learnt two things today. thanks for the vid Stephan. Not
sure I can effectively execute both in reality yet though.
where the most of squeezing power is generated – in biceps of main hand or
by second hand pressure on own wrist? For me it feels so heavy to squeeze
something
its about concentration of force (technique) and not power (strength). Use the radius. Its the sharp bone on your forearm (sharp surfaces concentrate force). The choke can take a few minutes of wriggling around to gain effect, but if in the end the effect comes that few minutes is worth it. Also its not about the breathing tube (trachea). Its about squeezing a bit of the blood vessel to the brain or out of the brain. Best if an attacker doesnt even realize he is being choked and notices it too late. Its quite dangerous, so hold this responsibly.
great vid. super helpful
