video? demo?
I wanted to thank this Coach for his thoughts and thanks him for sharring.
I wanted to say as a Wrestler I would not go side to side. I would ghost
out. I would be butt scooting away from him and looking for hooks, This set
up drags and movement. It is funny Ari when I was down at any Semenar I
goto to watch and learn I do not show anything and really just hide what I
know. I think as I see things no wonder I am now around 150 state champs I
have coached and people cant understand why…. sad
I’m not sure the guys in this video truly understand the real version of
north/south position; what we in judo call kami shiho gatame. If it’s
applied the way judoka apply it, you will have a slim to none chance of
getting out of it. As far as how they apply it in brazilian jiu-jitsu, I
really don’t know. From what I see in this video, the brazilian version may
be easy to get out of.
