Mount Submission Key Lock.mov

4

Another very basic submission from the mount position. This is a very popular finish although I see very few people do it correctly. In this video I do not focus on the setup. You will see that the setup is low percentage but also low risk. Once the arm is dominated to the floor and you have framed out the head make sure to take the slack out of the shoulder by pulling your elbow to your knee. Be careful because if you go for this with the same intensity that you have gone for a Key Lock in the past it may injury your training partner.

Excellent advice man! I’ve made people tap in training just by bringing the
elbow down to the knee without even starting to raise the arm.
