+TheBaywolf1 I can lift my hips up, but my opponent's body stays pressed against my chest, so that I cannot turn my shoulders and get to my side. If I use my arms and all of my strength, sometimes I am able to get a little space and turn my shoulders, but I end up in S-mount and get armbared because I extended my arms. If I don't extend my arms, then I just can't create any space. So, I stay in side control.

Your hips are strong. Strong enough to lift a very heavy person. I escaped a side mount tonight with my hips. The guy was very strong. I was able to lift and upa out. From there, I can't remember how I pushed him over to get side control. That's why I'm watching this. How did I do it?

Hilarious and informative. You’ve gained a fan.
Thanks! I hate side control
What if the guy is bigger and stronger so that you can’t lift him off the
ground and get your hips out like you did in the video?
What if he follows you when you try to get your hips out and flattens you
back down?
How do you keep your elbows in tight when a larger, stronger opponent is
pulling your arms out?
How do you keep a stronger opponent from getting the underhook and the
crossface?
+TheDorasil u gotta be quick too.
