@tintin605… with the gi on, it is best to have a hook grip on the sleeve,
and there is no real need for rotating your opponents wrist but if that
helps you then do it!…. for obvious reasons in no-gi just get a firm
handshake grip on the hand or wrist of your oppenent.

is it more effective to grip the opponents hand/wrist or can you control
the sleeve of the gi? would that be as effective? and if your holding the
hand, and you rotating the hand and wrist as you switch from the one
shoulder to the next?
