Re-starting Rousimar in a position like that is like putting a sharpshooter
in a helicopter for an elephant-hunting expedition. Maybe that re-start
was the formal rule of the competition, but realistically they are pretty
much just giving him the fight at that point.

Disclaimer- I have mixed feelings about Rousimar.  I love watching his fights. His athletic explosiveness, aggressive style, and beautiful technique make him one of my favorite submission artists. But he's either pretty dumb or has a bit of a vicious streak. I really can't tell which. Being mean to get a submission in jiu-jitsu is totally legit but his very obvious over-holding of leglocks is excessive.  His technical ability is so high that he should know when to release a submission as dangerous as a heel hook.
