Most of the time when my opponent has his arm in that position his other
arm is cross-facing me. Is this still worth going for in that situation or
should I just try to get back my guard? This is for jiu jitsu not MMA if it
makes a difference.

As a white belt I often find myself caught in this position. Nice to know
something new that I can try. Good video.
