If my partner has hooks in deep, I find that before I can do any techniques
like this, I need to do hook removal first. If you are looking for new
video ideas, doing one on hook removal and then transition to this (or any
other mount escape) would be great. I’m usually left with one leg flat on
the ground after I remove a hook, so I typically go for an elbow escape to
