If this is true (I don’t think it is) then he has been a BJJ Blue Belt for
a shitton of years. He was a ‘name’ back in 2009 in the blue divisions,
where he was one match away from medal round in a stacked Pena division at
2009 NoGI Worlds. He lost by advantage/ref’s division or some bullshit like
that. – E

I approve of everything besides of the gross miscategorisation that Yoon
came “out of nowhere”. He has been around for ages in the West Coast
grappling scene as one of Baret’s guys. It blows my mind that anyone would
have not heard of him unless they just started going to grappling
tournaments this year. – E
