Now, we’re going to be talking about mount escapes. The mount is a very bad place to be caught. Alright? Now, let's talk about what not to do. First thing, never bench press. Never bench press, never bench press. Watch what happens. He's going to just, even if you throw him off, even if it works. Watch. It doesn't work. But even if it does, he's going to go right to me in the belly and punch you in the face. Go.Or if he do and arm bar. And he breaks your arm. Alright? That's bad. Never do this. Okay. Another thing not to do. Never do this. Now, you’ll say, "Wait a minute. He's punching me in the face. I need to stop. I need to stop him." This does not work. Go. And also, I'm not getting out of the position. I'm just stalemating. Don't do this. Don't do this. Okay. What do I do? Okay. First thing I don't want to get punched. But if I bring my hands up here he's going to do high mount. Bad, very bad. Okay, very bad. Okay. So what do I do? Base my feet. Boom. I throw him up like that. See? He's got a base. Again, boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Bridge, lateral hit the escape, knees in. Come back to guard. Okay. One more time. Boom. Bridge, lateral, hit the escape, knees through, come to guard. That's the first mount escape. There are two more. Alright? Very, very simple. The second mount escape is a little bit like the side control escape we talked about before when you pushed the knee. But very easy, very simple. Okay. So escape number one. Somehow it doesn't work. Doesn't work. Straighten the legs, start pushing. Push, push, push. You have a right there you're halfway. Great! If it doesn't work, which it doesn't often, bring this leg over him. Pull it across. Sometimes you can put it up like this as well. Come across. You're at half guard, twist the leg if you want to come back to guard and we’re right here. Real time. Those are escape one, two, three from the mount.

Personally my martial art of choice is jujitsu. My sensei has got into many
fights on ground and he tries to get the other person to mount on him
because of how much you can do to incapacitate your opponent
Ok, minimizing the distance isn’t a bad idea. The Gracie’s trap lock
variations are way more effective than this because you end up in the
attack’s guard.
up until 1:30 it got kind of sexual
