Hey Nick, great question! In the course of shrinking the elbow- sometimes a
bit before, sometimes a bit after, though, usually after- you may find that
the opponent’s weight is still on your leg. It’s important to be able to
move the leg, so, if you can’t, stretch it south to free it. That movement
happens when necessary (when the leg is stuck); you’ll instinctively know
when to do it. Take it slow and smooth and discover the movement
organically. Let me know how it goes!
