Great technique but you need to watch out for getting mounted when you are
bridging back and forth.

I tried this but it never really went well for me. First of all my opponents have usually both arms on one side of me, so that my head is between his knee and his elbow. But even if he is in the position like Stephan most of the time I can´t even move around because most of my opponents are heavier than me and they learned to stabalize their position so that he is squeezing my chest. have you tried to put your other hand in their neck and try to use bridge motion while push your elbow towards their neck it might give some space to closed guard thanks
