In video series 7,of the heel hook series Professor Robert Biernaki of Island Top team shows a great escape from the rear body triangle into a sneaky heel hook attack. It was the first time i saw this setup. In free sparring i let my back get attacked, and successfully pulled this off.I found going under the foot a really great way to take pressure off and turn around to either face the opponent or get the heel hook on.

This wouldn’t work against a high-level jiu jitsu guy. Soon as you took one
hand away from your throat- it would be all over. One and against 2, is
senseless. Go to see Cesar Gracie’s version of this- much more effective.
bottom line = thats a dick comment.  marcelo gets single leg x when people think there on his back and Rousimar Palhares rips peoples legs apart when people think they have his back. bottom line = open your eyes
+supernalbjj this doesn't work- Â Cesar Gracie's way does=bottom line
you would also need to set it up from having a 2 on 1 wrist control and ducking under the choking arm. if you get what i mean. he does gloss over the need to defend your neck and doesnt realy explain the need to make space between your back and there chest.
I say what I said with all due respect
watch Marcelo and his single leg x guard. i know what your saying but as long as you hug your right arm tight on his ankle and use your left hand with a straight arm to control his knees and hips you can bump, push and recover the single leg x position. and Marcelo does it on the best in the world.
Egor Mizernyi, if you watch the whole video there is an explanation at the
end regarding the circumstances that can lead to being mounted and how to
prevent them.
everybody is like wow nice move, but think for a minute, when you turn to
him, he can mount you easily..
